CFF, the official philanthropy of the Sorority since 1958, is the recipient of funds raised by chapters to support research to find a cure for CF and to improve the quality of life for the 30,000 children and young adults with disease. In 1992 scientists described the gene that, when mutated, causes CF; however, a cure for CF has not yet been found. Local Philanthropy ![]() Organ Donor Awareness
Organ Donor Awareness is a philanthropy that Beta Phi chapter continues to support, as it was the main philanthropy of thelocal sorority who eventually founded the Delta Phi Epsilon Beta Phi chapter. Every year we have tables with information and sometimes a speaker, who teaches us and others in the campus community that organ donation saves lives. We also use the time spent on ODA to encourage others to save lives by talking with their family members about their organ and tissue donation wishes. |
